Several Montgomery and Harris county agencies responded to a fire Monday morning at a First Baptist Church building in New Caney. Firefighters arrived around 5 a.m. Monday at the building at Interstate 69 and FM 1485, where the roof of the building was engulfed in flames, East Montgomery Fire Chief Kyle Romagus told the Montgomery County Police Reporter.
