Sandra Mobley was in the third grade when she got a start in politics, helping her dad hand out “I Like Ike” buttons in the Park Place area of Houston.
The 77-year-old in 2022 celebrated 50 years as a Republican precinct chairman in the Cut and Shoot area of Montgomery County.
The petite woman with flowing white hair was born in Parkview Hospital, which she says was the first hospital/clinic in Houston. It was built by her mother’s uncle. She was the oldest girl in her family, with 12 siblings.
