Montgomery High School Theatre opened their performance of the hit musical, Kiss Me Kate, last weekend and there are 3 more chances to see it this weekend!
Kiss Me Kate is a classic Broadway show, first performed in 1948. It follows the story of two actors, Fred Graham and Lilli Vanessi, who were once married and are now performing together in a production of the Shakespeare play, “The Taming of the Shrew.” As their tumultuous relationship plays out on stage, the audience is taken on a wild ride of humor and romance.
The show is a true hit with its delightful music, performed by the Montgomery High School band, witty dialogue, and a talented cast of local high school students. Come out and show your support for the Montgomery Theatre and these amazing young performers!
The show will be performed this Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening at 7:00 PM in the Montgomery High School Auditorium, where it is warm and dry! There is also a performance on Saturday, at 2:00 PM if you’d like to see it earlier in the day.
