On Wednesday Splendora Police spotted a suspicious vehicle in Splendora. The officer followed the vehicle and finally stopped it at FM 1485 and I-69. As the officer approached he was able to smell marijuana. A search of the vehicle was done. Officers found 32grams of meth, 8 grams of cocaine, 4 ounces of marijuana, and $1200 in cash. Raymond Ray Renfro, 55, of 306 Oriole in Houston was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on two charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The gun he was in possession of had the serial numbers ground off.
