11:55 PM The crash at Old Sorters and Sorters has cleared. At about 10:45 an intoxicated driver was driving south on Sorters Road with no headlights. A Cadillac which was westbound on Old Sorters turned onto Sorters not seeing the other vehicle. After the crash, the intoxicated driver fled the scene. A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy who was searching for the suspect spotted him asleep in the grass next to the ditch at Lowe and Sorters. He was arrested. He was so intoxicated he was not able to walk any further and decided that cussing the officers out would help his situation.
