About 12:15 pm MCHD and Lake Conroe Fire were dispatched to a report of a body on the railroad tracks on FM 2854 at Deer Lake Lodge near Honea Egypt. Units arrived to find a victim deceased and appeared to have been struck by a train. According to Railroad officials, the last train passed through the area close to 12-hours prior. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is now on the scene investigating.
