Chief Wieghat and the City of Splendora Police Department would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Officer R. Culberth for being nominated and presented the prestigious MADD Award this morning as a part of the 2021 Law Enforcement Recognition Event for both Harris and Montgomery Counties. Officer Culberth was able to secure an outstanding 29 DWI arrests last year and we couldn’t be more proud! The City of Splendora Police Department is honored to be recognized in this manner and we are dedicated to continuing the pursuit of taking impaired drivers off of our streets, thus making travel on our roadways safer. Thank you, MADD for all you do to show your appreciation for all officers in this fight against impaired drivers.
