At 9:45 pm Friday, July 23, 2021, Conroe Police investigated a fatal crash on Crighton Road at Crighton Ridge. A 2008 Toyota Scion driven by Levy Owens, 50, of Conroe was westbound on Crighton Road when he failed to yield the right-of-way as he turned onto Crighton Ridge. He was hit head-on by a 20-year-old male in a Chevrolet Silverado who was eastbound on Crighton Road. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport Levy to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. No charges were filed in the incident.
