Montgomery County pair charged with smuggling 89 people north of Mexico border

A Montgomery County man and woman were charged Thursday in federal court for allegedly trying to smuggle 89 people in a tractor trailer north of the U.S.-Mexico border. Marc Anthony Bane, 32, of Porter, and Tara Renee Dillon, 33, of Conroe, are being charged with human smuggling, according to a press release from the U.S. Immigration and Enforcement Agency. Bane and Dillon appeared before a U.S. magistrate judge in Laredo, the press release added.
