HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston did not let UTEP hold a lead for long in a 4-2 victory Saturday at Bearkat Softball Complex. The Bearkats (21-21, 9-7 CUSA) were outhit but found ways to outplay the Miners with timely hitting and aggressive base running. Bella Perez went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and her 11th home run of the season — a solo shot in the sixth inning to give Sam Houston an insurance run.
