A concerned citizen’s quick thinking helped Montgomery County deputies arrest a man accused of attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old girl in the 19400 block of Hickory Lane. The incident happened on Feb. 5, 2025, at approximately 3:42 p.m., when the citizen allegedly witnessed an alarming scene while following a school bus. The witness saw a male passenger exit the passenger side of a slowly moving Ford F-150, cross the street rapidly, and attempt to engage the child in conversation. The visibly upset girl immediately ran toward her home.
