SHENANDOAH, Texas – Four men were arrested following a shoplifting incident at a Home Depot, where they attempted to steal over $2,000 worth of merchandise, according to the Shenandoah Police Department. The suspects fled the scene, leading to a brief chase that ended with their capture.The incident unfolded when Shenandoah officers responded to reports of shoplifting at the store. The suspects were seen concealing merchandise in their clothing. Three of the men were apprehended in the parking lot, while the fourth suspect managed to reach his vehicle and led officers on a chase that concluded near Richey Road and IH45. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of Ecstasy, stated the source.All four suspects were taken to the Montgomery County Jail, facing charges that include theft, evading arrest, driving while intoxicated, and possession of a controlled substance.
