SPRING, Texas – A Montgomery County constable’s deputy arrested a man early Saturday morning after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm, according to a press release from Constable Ryan Gable’s office.The incident occurred on January 18, 2025, around 2:30 a.m. when a deputy noticed a black Nissan pickup truck with an equipment violation in the 500 block of Rayford Road. The driver, identified as 48-year-old Chadwick Williams, of Harris County, was detained and subsequently arrested for Violation of a Protective Order after being found in possession of a firearm. The truck was towed from the scene, and the passenger was released, stated the press release. Williams was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office jail.
