Forty years ago today Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center made its debut as the first hospital in The Woodlands. Known at the time as The Woodlands Community Hospital, it opened with 42 beds and less than 200 employees. In the years since, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands has kept pace with the growing community, expanding its footprint and specialty services to ensure residents have access to safe, evidence-based, quality care close to home.
