CONROE, Texas – A fugitive on the top 10 most wanted list was arrested by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force on January 28, 2025. Rakana Leron Mixon, a 47-year-old, was apprehended for warrants related to the sexual assault of a child in Montgomery County.Mixon is currently held at the Pasadena City Jail, awaiting extradition to the Montgomery County Jail, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The task force involved in the arrest includes personnel from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Conroe Police Department, and U.S. Marshals.
