Phil Longo is returning to Sam Houston as the Bearkats’ next head football coach, as first reported by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Longo returns to Sam Houston after being the offensive coordinator in Huntsville from 2014-2016. After Sam Houston, Longo made stops as the OC at Ole Miss, North Carolina, and most recently Wisconsin where he spent the past two seasons.
