New Waverly saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a hard 65-51 fall against the Grapeland Sandies. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1223rd, while the Sandies are ranked 272nd).
