After flying high against College Park last Thursday, The Woodlands came back down to earth. The Woodlands Highlanders took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Caney Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Highlanders came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps’ Texas football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Eagles are ranked 724th).
