DeRidder, La – On September 20, 2024, at 2332 hours, the DeRidder Police Department received a complaint from Beauregard Health System of a juvenile with a gunshot wound. During the investigation, it was revealed that Anthony Ray Goldman, age 18, of Cleveland, Texas was at the DeRidder High School Band Practice field on Oneal Street. While there, at approximately 21:44 Goldman had fired several rounds from a .22 caliber handgun, striking a juvenile and a subsequent fight between Goldman and the juvenile occurred at that location. The firearm was later located, and it was discovered that the handgun had an obliterated serial number.
