CONROE, Texas – Deputies and animal cruelty investigators from the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a property on Chasewood Court.The warrant was obtained based on information regarding possible animal cruelty, according to the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office. During the search, investigators collected evidence consistent with animal remains, which will be sent for forensic examination to assist in the ongoing investigation.At this time, no criminal charges have been filed. The investigation remains active and ongoing, and further enforcement action will be determined pending its conclusion.The Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office is committed to thoroughly investigating all reports of animal cruelty within Montgomery County.
