CONROE, Texas — On August 28, 2024, multiple law enforcement agencies participated in a joint training exercise centered on crowd management. Mounted Patrol units from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Houston Police Department, Conroe Police Department, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables, and Barbers Hill I.S.D. took part in the exercise. The training aimed to enhance coordination and effectiveness in managing large crowds, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
