FM 1097 reopens following partial collapse in Montgomery County

FM 1097 is now open in both directions following a partial collapse. (Courtesy Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough) Following severe thunderstorms in late July that caused a collapse of FM 1097 at Atkins Creek, Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough announced in a Facebook post on Aug. 5 that the roadway was now fully open for traffic.
