CONROE, Texas — A woman drowned after falling off a boat near the Scotts Ridge Boat Ramp on July 4, 2024, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office. The Montgomery County Dispatch Center received a 911 call at approximately 8:59 PM reporting the incident. Initial reports indicated that several individuals had entered the water in an attempt to locate the woman but were unsuccessful.
