A new library dedicated to “banned books” and diverse voices opened Friday in The Woodlands. Spurred on by book removal guidelines implemented by Conroe ISD and Montgomery County libraries within the last two years, the new Woodlands Pride Community library will offer more than 400 books featuring LGBTQ+ topics and a diverse range of authors and themes in the back of the Village Books bookstore.
