CONROE, Texas — A 52-year-old man from Montgomery County has been sentenced to life in prison for continuous sexual abuse of a child, following a jury’s guilty verdict. On July 22, 2024, Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office prosecutors Brittney Aaron and Shanna Redwine began presenting evidence against Darrell Wayne Lang in the 75th District Court, presided over by Judge Kaycee Jones. The prosecution revealed that in September 2021, an undercover detective with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce began communicating with Lang online. Lang sent the detective child pornography and admitted to sexually abusing multiple children over many years.
