MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A traffic stop on July 27, 2024, led to the arrest of a man found with methamphetamine and a firearm. The incident occurred at 15775 Capitol Hill Rd., where a K9 Deputy from the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office conducted the stop. The male driver was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful carry of a weapon, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
