Beryl knocks out power to thousands of Entergy customers in Southeast Texans

Southeast Texans — While nearly 1 million CenterPoint customers are without power in the Houston area, hundreds of thousands of Entergy customers are also in the dark. As of 6:30 p.m. Monday, nearly 245,000 customers were in the dark, primarily in the western part of Entergy’s service area. The largest number of outages are in Montgomery County with about 150,000.
