HOUSTON, Texas — Authorities arrested Jacob Kenneth Gates, a lifetime registered sex offender, after executing a search warrant at his Houston residence on June 27, 2024. The Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations Division, in conjunction with Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, conducted the search. The warrant stemmed from a proactive investigation into the promotion and distribution of child pornography, according to the press release.
