SPRING, Texas — Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning. On June 22, 2024, at about 6:20 a.m., deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 6 Patrol were dispatched to the 3000 block of Shadowcrest Lane in Spring, Texas, in response to an assault firearm call. The homeowner called 911, reporting that he had shot an intruder who rushed him. While on the phone, the homeowner began lifesaving measures, but the intruder was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
