HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man in East Montgomery County. The man was trapped under a mobile home that was being lifted with a hydraulic bottle jack when the jack sank into the ground, causing the home to fall on him. Firefighters attempted to rescue him, but he died at the scene.
