A Houston area man with a history of violence has been locked up for 50 years after strangling his girlfriend in a fit of jealous rage. Lauro Eliud Salinas, 50, was sentenced Monday for attacking his partner because she had spoken to an Uber driver, as reported by FOX 26 Houston. This assault, which occurred in front of her 8-year-old son, included striking the woman so hard she fell, before throttling her into unconsciousness.
