I-45 southbound reopens north of Research Forest after major crash

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Houston TranStar reported the main lanes of I-45 headed south near Research Forest Drive reopened after a major crash Friday night. It’s unclear what led to the crash or if there were any injuries. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office first posted about the crash at 7:51 p.m. TranStar said the crash cleared shortly before 9:20 p.m.
