MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — Two people were found dead Monday in a home south of Lake Conroe, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies were called around 8 a.m. to the home on Omeara Road near Eastchase Street for a welfare check. That’s when they found the bodies of a man and a woman who had been shot. Deputies said two elementary-aged children were in the house and were not injured. They are with family.
