Former Port Neches Fire Chief Paul Edward Nelson, 57, is in trouble – again – and law enforcement says it is again related to child sex crimes. Nelson was originally arrested in January of 2021 on a charge of Promotion and Possession of Child Pornography. That arrest came after the Child Exploitation Unit of the Texas Attorney General’s Office said an investigation revealed the crime after a tip came in through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
