ROUND ROCK — On the eve of the University Interscholastic League Class 5A championship, the Magnolia West Mustangs were working hard behind the scenes. It was a hot and sunny Friday morning at Vista Ridge High School. Just about 15 hours or so removed from winning in the semifinals, the ‘Dirt Boys’ were going through a practice with just enough competitiveness and intensity to keep the internal fires going.
