As Texans endure the icy arctic blast, more warning centers are opening up across the region to make space for residents who need a place to stay warm. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said in an interview posted to Twitter Thursday night that city workers are canvassing different areas of Houston to alert people that warming centers are open.
