On 7/6/22, Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Justin Johnson at a local hotel in Porter. This arrest was the result of an investigation of theft of precious metals (air conditioners). Authorities believe Johnson is also a suspect in numerous copper thefts from construction sites in the area. A search warrant was executed at his motel room as well. This investigation is ongoing.
