Despite the sweltering heat, the Conroe Noon Lions Club is full steam ahead. This past weekend Lions participated in another Service Saturday, this time at both the Community Assistance Center and Lone Star Family Health.
Power washing, among other needed maintenance, was the task of the day at the Community Assistance Center. Lions who served at Lone Star Family Health assisted in back-to-school vision screenings. Each service project addressed a Lions Club International Global Causes : Vision and Hunger. We strive to “prevent avoidable blindness and improve quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired”…
