CONROE, TX — On June 2, 2020 the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with injuries near FM 3083 and Gulf Coast Rd. in Grangerland. Upon arrival, two victims were located who had been riding a motorcycle, one with serious injuries. The other driver in the crash had fled the scene prior to arrival. The motorcycle operator later died at an area hospital. Based on the subsequent investigation, Jeff Taylor Bell of Conroe was arrested and charged with Intoxicated Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aid resulting in death.
