Montgomery County commissioners are shifting departments around to make room for the new County Court at Law No. 6 that will launch later this year. While the court is working on an overall facilities master plan to address the future needs of the county, on Tuesday it moved to the district clerk’s office from the Montgomery County Courthouse to the Keeshan Building. That move will make space for the new court and another court in the future.
