Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County announced April 18 a land gift of over 80 undeveloped acres from the Chimenti family at its annual Building Hope Gala. The nonprofit, which is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, builds homes for qualifying lower-income families and provides home repair services. Habitat Montgomery County also operates a ReStore, which sells furniture at reduced prices to support its homebuilding programs, according to its website.
