8-year-old and 12-year-old find mother dead in the garage of a Splendora home, authorities report

A woman’s children found her dead Wednesday in the garage of a Splendora home, authorities said. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a 911 call about 5 p.m. for a welfare check in the 25500 block of White Oak Lane, where they found a woman dead in a home’s garage, Lt. Spencer of the sheriff’s office told the Montgomery County Police Reporter in a briefing.
