THE WOODLANDS, TX — At 5:18 AM this morning The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire on Spiceberry Place in Alden Bridge. Truck 104 arrived first and reported fire coming from the roof of a two-story residence. Firefighters located the fire in the attic and were able to quickly bring it under control. The resident had been awakened by a smoke alarm (smoke alarms save lives!!) and was able to get himself and his dog out safely before firefighters arrived. Fire did significant damage to home and residents will be displaced. Fire cause is under investigation by Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office. TWFD was assisted by Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4, Conroe Fire Department and Magnolia fire as well as Montgomery County Hospital District and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
