Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Aggravated Robbery in Conroe

CONROE, TX — On February 20, 2022, MCTX Sheriff deputies responded to a carjacking in the 1400 block of Ashland Drive in Conroe. Initial reports indicate that 2 men approached a neighbor shortly after 5:00PM, and asked for a ride. Once in the vehicle, one of the suspects, identified as 24-year-old JoseMario Gazca-Navarrete, produced a handgun, pointed it at the victim, and demanded that he take them to a separate location. After a short distance, the victim stopped the vehicle in front of a residence where there were many people outside, and quickly got out of the vehicle. The two suspects then also got out of the vehicle, and fled on foot. While one suspect is still at large, JoseMario was believed to have returned to his residence on Ashland Drive.
