THE WOODLANDS, TX — At 5:50 this morning The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Rolling Pines Place in Cochran’s Crossing. Truck 104 and Battalion 102 arrived first and declared a working fire with flames coming from a two story single family home. Firefighters assisted by a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled one female from the home and than began an offensive fire attack. The female was tuned over to Montgomery County Hospital District paramedics who treated and transported her to Hermann Memorial in serious condition. Firefighters also rescued two dogs from the home. A second alarm was called but those additional units were not used and firefighters brought the blaze under control in 30 minutes. The home suffered significant damage and a family of four will be displaced. Fire cause is under investigation by Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office. Also Assisting TWFD was Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4.
