Three People Rescued by The Woodlands Fire Department After a Vehicle Collision at I-45 & Highway 242

THE WOODLANDS, TX — At 1:40 pm The Woodlands Fire Department responded along with Montgomery County Hospital District and Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4 to the intersection of I-45 and Highway 242 for a two vehicle collision with possible entrapment. When firefighters arrived they found three people trapped inside a vehicle on its side in the intersection. After stabilizing the vehicle, firefighters were able to quickly extricate all 3 occupants. MCHD took three patients to area hospitals, all with non-life threatening injuries. Two other people involved in the accident were checked and released at the scene.
