NEW CANEY, TX — On November 28, 2021, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of Cockfighting at a residence in the 25900 block of Thatcham Road in New Caney, Texas. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered obvious signs of cockfighting, including a makeshift fighting arena, caged roosters, and numerous dead roosters. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Livestock Unit responded to assist in the investigation.
