Two incumbents, one challenger take early lead in New Caney ISD board of trustees election

With 52 of 57 precincts reporting in Montgomery County, two incumbents and one challenger are in the lead for three positions on the New Caney ISD board of trustees. In the race for Position 3, incumbent Wendy Sharp is leading challenger Oscar Ramirez, Jr. by a margin of 1,110 to 514 votes, or roughly 68.3% to 31.7% of the votes. Sharp was first elected to the board in 2018.
