Montgomery County plans for new precinct boundaries

Montgomery County commissioners adopted several policies Tuesday that will help in redrawing precinct lines to even out a slight population imbalance. While the county grew by 36 percent since 2010, Montgomery County commissioner precincts grew mostly evenly. With Precinct 1 the smallest in population and Precinct 4 the largest, the court is debating on moving either voting box 2 or voting box 17 into Precinct 1 to even out the numbers.
