Montgomery County adds 16 COVID deaths

Montgomery County health officials confirmed 16 new COVID-related deaths Tuesday as active cases continue to drop. The number of deaths has now climbed to 477. Among the death are five Conroe women between the ages of 50 and 70; two Conroe men one each in their 30s and 70s; a Magnolia man in his 70s and a Magnolia woman in her 70s; a Spring man in his 40s and a Spring woman in her 80s; a Porter man in his 80s and a Porter woman in her 80s; a New Caney man in her 50s; a Pinehurst woman in her 60s; and a Montgomery man in his 60s. Of the patients, 15 were not vaccinated and the Porter man in his 80s had received one dose of a required two-dose vaccine.
